Richard, originally from New Zealand, has been with Whale Watching Sydney since 2014.
His love for boats and the ocean started while deep sea fishing at a very early age with his uncle in the Queen Charlotte Sound back home in New Zealand.
He started driving our smaller vessel Totally Wild for a couple of seasons before moving onto Ocean Dreaming 2 in 2017.
Richard is a keen surfer, so if you don’t find him behind the wheel of one of our whale watching boats, he is probably chasing big waves south of Sydney.
