Great news: The weather forecast for the 26th of December looks fantastic, so we will have great conditions for our Boxing Day Cruises! ☀️

And due to popular demand we have added two extra cruises departing from Darling Harbour and Manly.

If you missed out before, here is your chance to be part of one of the most exciting days on Sydney Harbour and beyond as we watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race on the harbour and then follow the fleet offshore and head down the coast along the eastern beaches of Sydney.

Our Whale Watching season may have finished, but Boxing day and our Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race cruises are now only 2 weeks away!

Boxing Day is one of the most exciting days on Sydney Harbour, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than on one of our Boxing Day cruises departing from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Manly.

Join us on December 26 as we get amongst the action of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart yacht race, with front row seats watching the start in the harbour and then chasing the fleet out of the heads as far down south as Maroubra!

Friends and family of race crew are most welcome! We attempt to work back through the fleet once out of the harbour to say a final farewell all those with loved ones on boats heading south.

We were back out whale watching again after sea conditions had calmed down enough with both Thursday and Friday wiped out by strong winds and large waves!

We spent some time watching this mother and calf frolic off the northern beaches with both of them tail and pectoral fin slap their way back towards Antarctica.

2 more weeks before the season ends, so get your whale fix if you have not had one yet...!

An impressive display of head lunges kept us in awe on our whale watching cruises today!

The wind and waves crept up during the day, which quite often results in some super active whales!

Unfortunately it will get much worse over the next 2 days, forcing us to cancel some of our cruises.

Everything should be back to almost comfortable by the weekend, so we should be back out there then.

A little over 2 weeks to go before the season ends!

Testimonials

  • My experience was amazing I say Whales breaching it was fantastic. And the crew on the boat made my experiences a great and safe place to be.

  • Weather was a bit miserable, but the boat made it comfortable. The crew had their finger on the pulse out there and when whales were spotted by a sister boat, we were taken quickly to a perfect viewing spot. The whales repeatedly breached, including a double breach from the pair. We got great photos and finished the voyage pumped.

  • The boat, crew and overall experience was fabulous! Whales were promised and wow we were blown away, we can’t believe that we saw whales breaching and tail slapping so close we felt at times we could almost touch them.
This crew have perfected the tour with an onboard Marine Biologist and happy, easygoing but safe attitude.

  • Once we got out of the Harbor, we started seeing whales. They were jumping and feeding and just cruising along side the boat!! The crew were all super friendly and helpful and kept the trip fun and interesting.

  • Whale Watching Sydney. Another excellent trip with lots of whales observed. If you book online suggest you tick the extra option for getting the professional photos. Good commentary on what you are seeing

  • Must to do with kids. Amazing experience with kids. Must to do if in Sydney. There is big difference watching whale compared to other animals as the shear size of whale and they move is magnificent.
