We left Sydney heads and began our journey up north towards Long-Reef. We spotted a pod of humpback whales a few kilometres off Manly. We headed that direction, stopped a fair distance away from the pod, then we saw them change direction and head straight for us. we counted 3 humpbacks, a mother, calf and another full-grown humpback - then began the "mugging" which then was followed by the calf breaching and putting on a show! 🐋🚀 This went for the rest of the cruise and it sure was hard to leave when it was time to head back!
Weather conditions are looking too rough for tomorrow, so unfortunately, our Sunday whale watching cruises are cancelled.

We're back out there today onboard our Discovery cruise on the humpback highway. 🐬
We found 2-3 pods of humpback whales heading north this morning and what we saw was it definitely isn't just a highway for humpbacks but for some Bottlenose Dolphins as well. We were finding it difficult to take our eyes off the Dolphins as they were cruising with our vessel and breaching all around us. A welcomed distraction from our humpback friends! 🐋

Today was a contrast with the weather! Soft seas in the morning and heavy winds in the afternoon - soft seas or heavy winds is never a problem for the humpbacks, they were going wild all day! 🚀🐋
We cruised straight out of the heads and onto the Tasman sea and spotted an active pod of humpback whales breaching East, so we headed out there and then we found ourselves surrounded by humpbacks! We counted 4-5 pods of whales breaching every direction! We could even feel the water from the splash of the whales on our skin 😁

It was comfortable ride on our 3-hour discovery cruise this morning with soft seas paired with a pod 2 whales breaching just a few kilometres off Manly.
With the waters so still and calm it made pretty amazing sounds of the whales crashing down on the undisturbed surface of the water with each breach, which made some very large slapping sounds!

With the weather warming up, we're seeing more humpback whales on their southern migration back down to the Antarctic. This morning, we spotted lots of humpbacks heading south, with the added little penguin spotted near North-head, then this afternoon we saw a few pods still making their way north 🐋

My experience was amazing I say Whales breaching it was fantastic. And the crew on the boat made my experiences a great and safe place to be.

Weather was a bit miserable, but the boat made it comfortable. The crew had their finger on the pulse out there and when whales were spotted by a sister boat, we were taken quickly to a perfect viewing spot. The whales repeatedly breached, including a double breach from the pair. We got great photos and finished the voyage pumped.

The boat, crew and overall experience was fabulous! Whales were promised and wow we were blown away, we can’t believe that we saw whales breaching and tail slapping so close we felt at times we could almost touch them. This crew have perfected the tour with an onboard Marine Biologist and happy, easygoing but safe attitude.

Once we got out of the Harbor, we started seeing whales. They were jumping and feeding and just cruising along side the boat!! The crew were all super friendly and helpful and kept the trip fun and interesting.

Whale Watching Sydney. Another excellent trip with lots of whales observed. If you book online suggest you tick the extra option for getting the professional photos. Good commentary on what you are seeing

Must to do with kids. Amazing experience with kids. Must to do if in Sydney. There is big difference watching whale compared to other animals as the shear size of whale and they move is magnificent.
