Did you know that our whale watching season starts in only 7 weeks?! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The first whales have already been spotted on their northern migration past Sydney and we are hoping for many cruises as unforgettable as what we had on one windy afternoon back in 2016: ๐Ÿณ

We spotted our first whales the second we came around the corner of South Head. A breaching mother and calf pair, tucked right in close along the cliffs!

We spent the next 2 hours following them down south, past Bondi Beach and would have seen hundreds of breaches, head lunges and tail throws!

One of our regular passengers Adam gave it a solid 10 out of 10 and had to lie down for a rest after taking about 2.000 photos in 2 hours... :)

tickets are on sale now on www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au and you can save yourself 20% until the end of April with promo code EarlyBird2021.

Awesome!

While whale watching in Hawaii, boats have to stay very far away from where the whales are. These whales are close (very close) !

Wow, awesome

Rod Breeze we need to go again.

I cant think of many things more amazing than having a 50 ton humpback breach right beside your boat! Here is one from a few years back, which just about matches todays weather in Sydney.

9 weeks to go until our season kicks off in mid May!

Tickets are on sale now and you can save yourself 20% with our early bird special.

I love that, my dream is to have a trip with you

I so want to be there.

Remember when we were watching whales off the Sydney Opera House? ๐Ÿณ

Typically whales dont come in the harbour, but every once in a while they do. Quite often they do a little loop around the harbour entrance and realize quickly that they may have taken a wrong turn and head out to the open ocean again.

This curious humpback stayed for quite a while and almost made it past the Harbour Bridge.

You can imagine how exciting this was for everyone onboard, especially the photographer: Just picture a breaching whale with the Opera House in the background...

One we have not ticked off the bucket list yet. Maybe in 2021 ๐Ÿ˜œ

I saw a dead whale in the Harbour near Rose Bay a couple of years ago. So sad. It was never reported in the news.

I have seen orcas in the harbour at times to,up near the opera house and gardens

Now there is a great photo!

  • My experience was amazing I say Whales breaching it was fantastic. And the crew on the boat made my experiences a great and safe place to be.

  • Weather was a bit miserable, but the boat made it comfortable. The crew had their finger on the pulse out there and when whales were spotted by a sister boat, we were taken quickly to a perfect viewing spot. The whales repeatedly breached, including a double breach from the pair. We got great photos and finished the voyage pumped.

  • The boat, crew and overall experience was fabulous! Whales were promised and wow we were blown away, we canโ€™t believe that we saw whales breaching and tail slapping so close we felt at times we could almost touch them.
This crew have perfected the tour with an onboard Marine Biologist and happy, easygoing but safe attitude.

  • Must to do with kids. Amazing experience with kids. Must to do if in Sydney. There is big difference watching whale compared to other animals as the shear size of whale and they move is magnificent.
